About We Pray Brevard
We Pray Brevard and Love INC of Brevard have partnered together beginning in 2021 with a purpose of bringing people from all over Brevard County together to pray for the needs of our community. The purpose of these prayer events is to seek God’s Blessing and Protection on our community and our people and God’s Word to go out mightily!
People, pastors, churches, and city officials from all over the county are coming together in unity as we call out to God and pray. Let’s take a step of faith together and see how God will move through the faithful prayers of the men and women in our communities.
About Amanda Hernandez
Amanda Hernandez
Amanda Hernandez is the founder of We Pray Brevard, a prayer ministry focused on bringing people together from all over Brevard County to pray for the needs of our community.
Originally from St. Louis, MO, Amanda has made Florida her home for the past 17 years. With a BA in Aviation Science/Professional Pilot from St. Louis University, Parks College, Amanda trained as a Commercial Pilot, holding an Instrument and Multiengine rating and worked in aviation for many years. After expanding her family she switched gears in her career to stay home with the children and expand her opportunities serving in ministry.
This exciting time has allowed her to teach Bible studies in church, answer God’s call to serve on staff with Bible Study Fellowship, and serve as a Hospitality Ministry Leader for many years. Amanda and her husband, Nathan, have 3 children. Their oldest son is stationed overseas with the U.S. Air Force and married. They also have two daughters living at home.
